Entry vs storm — when do I need both?
A solid entry door handles security and insulation. A storm door adds a weather layer, ventilation in shoulder seasons, and extra protection for a wood or decorative slab. If your existing entry still has life in it, a well-fitted storm door is often the first step.
Can you match sidelights / existing opening?
Yes. We measure the existing opening and can install a door with matching sidelights or keep the current configuration. The goal is a tight fit — not a smaller door in a patched hole.
Fiberglass vs steel for salt air?
Near the water, fiberglass is usually the better long-term slab — it won't rust the way steel can when salt air and road spray get after it. Steel still works inland if you want a painted, durable door at a lower price. We'll talk through the exposure on your street.
